Avalon My Jesus, I Love Thee Lyrics

Last updated: 03/03/2008 10:00:00 AM

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign;
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;
If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree;
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
(Oh my saviour) If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

It is now (if ever I love my Saviour, 'tis now etc)
It is now (if ever I love my Saviour, 'tis now)

In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow,
If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

Just wonderful vocal arrangement to contemporarise
an old but meaningful hymn! I was just wondering if it was possible to get the piano score or even the chords that was played on the piano in this videoclip? I would love to play the hymn in this way like AVAlon.

another verse, but rich in meaning | Reviewer: robert. bamford | 9/14/2007

I love thee life, I'll love thee in death,
And praise thee as long as thou lendeth me breath,
And say as the death dew lies cold on my brow,
If ever I loved thee my Jesus it is now
