My Chemical Romance Lyrics

Okay, this is the same biography but there was a few
mistakes so I fixed them for you.

Based in New Jersey, My Chemical Romance is an alternative
pop/rock and punk-pop band that has been compared to
Thursday and, to a lesser degree, Cursive. Many of their
songs are loud, fast, hyper, and aggressive, but My
Chemical Romance's work also tends to be melodic and
pop-minded. My Chemical Romance got started in the early
2000s, when lead singer Gerard Way and drummer Matt
Pelissier decided to try writing some songs together. The

------ About the song The Kids From Yesterday performed by My Chemical Romance

this song is the best work that MCR have done in my opinion and I also completely disagree with the fact that MCR have completely sold out with the release of danger days and I would just like to add in this little bit "KILLJOYS FOREVER!!!"

------ About the song Cemetery Drive performed by My Chemical Romance

The first verse doesn't have to be taken literally. On a surface level interpretation, "in the dress your husband hates" implies cheating, but it could also be viewed as a metaphor for someone escaping from or rebelling against an unpleasant home life. The first few lines have a rebellious tone like this as well. They would run away from everything, partially by drinking (which is stated in the song, but it's probably a safe bet that drugs were involved too).
The first impression most people get is that "they found you on the bathroom floor" means suicide. This is not necessarily the case. The aforementioned alcohol and possible drugs are also a very likely cause, considering the location. If so, then the same way they found freedom is also how they died, which is ironic in a tragic way.
Naturally their former partner in misery, now left alone to cope, is struggling. There is not only the despair of losing someone, but combined with the fact that they were involved with the alcohol and/or drugs would have made them very emotional and irrational. "Is this what you always want me for?" sounds bitter, like they might feel abandoned and even blame the other person for leaving them behind, or maybe they were never so important after all and they only stuck around for the drugs/alcohol and lack of a better option. But all in all, they really did miss them. The same conflict and irrational thoughts probably made suicide seem appealing.
However, none of that was true. The "Don't do it" in the background could represent advice from the one who is dead who truly does care and wants their friend to go on living.
I need to cut this short before I start crying in the middle of class. XD I really like songs like this where you have to dig deep to find the real message. A lot of My Chemical Romance's songs are like that, which is why I like them so much, but they can also be so tragic! It really gets a person's empathy going. :')

------ About the song The End performed by My Chemical Romance

babbling of a My Chem fan-or-whatever-you-call-it :
1. it's pointless to say which album is the best cuz it's everyone's personal opinion (and in MINE, they're all equal amazing xD)
2. who cares whether they are or aren't emo, and whether it's a good or bad thing, like, i'm sure mcr don't give a sh*t, cuz that's how sassy gee is :3 (can't you read?? when he grows up, he wants to be nothing at all!! xDD)
3. ERGHM. each fan is also equal amazing and has the equal right to love the band IN THE WAY THEY CHOOSE, so of course it might not come up to your giant 'fan' expectations; let's all stick together instead of letting others infect us and letting that disease destroy us from the inside :P
4. EACH TIME YOU WRITE THAT MCR ARE "SOLD-OUTS" OR "COMMERCIAL", GOD KILLS A UNICORN AND BELIEVE ME, THERE IS ONE PERSON WHO WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU THIS #MIKEYWAY

------ About the song Welcome To The Black Parade performed by My Chemical Romance

I hate all the people that say MCR encourages death and suicide. Honestly, this band saves lots of lives. And though I love all of their songs, if it weren't for this song and the rest of the black parade album, I severely doubt me living to sit here and type this. I love MCR because they honestly are supportive and inspiring and their music will always be here for me. I could not thank them enough for giving me my strength, it is priceless. Thank you MCR.

------ About the song Vampires Will Never Hurt You performed by My Chemical Romance

Yes . But one thing aalwys stuck in my mind when we had asked her: She would aalwys ask, Will it be after 7? No one had questioned her .I mean it may have been just another coincidence; maybe her mother was strict with those things? Who knows. But she became a welcome part of our group. She didn't talk much, but that was fine with us, we just liked being around her. She only stayed in town for 2 years, and near the end of the 2nd year me and her shared a special relationship together if you could say so. We began to talk to each other more, and we hanged out more frequently. Then, one night, at the bowling alley, she told me she was moving away. I remember her giving me a kiss right on the cheek, and boy did it feel wonderful. As she had said, the next day, she had left. Just like that. She was a mystery none of us or I could solve. It wasn't until the past few years that I had begun to notice and realize why she was so mysterious, why she was the way she was, I began to pick out details from my past and now that I take a better look, the coincidence is striking. She almost NEVER came to school on completely cloudless days. Her attendance was more frequent during the Fall and Winter months. Her eyes were literally enchanting, they were a very deep blue, and under her eyes were dark circles which made her stand out even more from the class. She only hung out with us on early evenings, for example, from 7-9. Then she hurriedly left. Her manners were VERY decent, she ate very proper and she aalwys said Please and Thanks . Her presence when she entered any room was a mysterious vibe , a creepily dark one, and even I could never tell what she was thinking or feeling. Her emotions were well hidden. Don't get me wrong, maybe these are just surprising coincidences, maybe she grew up in a well-mannered home. Maybe all the animals that aalwys seemed to be drawn to her was also just a coincidence. I'm not going to assume she wasn't human. She did eat lunch, although very little. She laughed and she acted like everyone else. But something about her really struck a nerve. I never really tell much of anyone about her. It was a more personal memory and experience. I believed I had befriended a Vampire. This is pure speculation. I never saw her drink blood, I never saw her burst into flames or fly or whatever these modern vampires do. She dressed rather normally. Her name was a bit strange but it was unique, her name was Nasya. I'm not sure if that's how it was spelled but it went something like that. (Old Man memory). I have tried to locate this woman (or girl), but no records that I could recall came up. It saddens me indeed. Well that was my supposed Vampire Tale.

------ About the song Desert Song performed by My Chemical Romance

Just a heads up for all you members of the MCRmy that are completely missing the meaning of this song, but just acting like you know and it means a lot to you...
This song was written about Gerards addiction to drugs and alcohol. Its about how it affected him and his life and how it could have caused him to die. yea.

------ About the song Desert Song performed by My Chemical Romance

I don't even know what to think. It's so simple but it is so deep. Beautiful lyrics that Gee sings with all his heart. You can feel the intense emotion all through this song. Amazing and beautiful and one of my favourites :)

What girl? | Reviewer: Belladonna
------ About the song Demolition Lovers performed by My Chemical Romance

This amuses me, all the people speaking about 'the girl' here. I honestly believe this song was written for Frank, about the impossibility of their love, of their life on the road, and how through Gerards alcoholism and drug abuse, they were driven to self destruct and destined never to be together. The raw pain and beauty in this song takes my breath away...it reminds me of my girlfriend, and how the love I feel for her is as dark and powerful as this song speaks. She destroys me; her mood swings and depression and violent fits of anger are tearing my mind and heart apart even as I write this. But I will stay with her forever, and if I cannot be her salvation then I will die with her. As Lacuna Coil say "I don't want to be saved, I want to go down with you! Together we will find a way to come back...."
