And, yes, I know that the the concept occurred when Roger was pissed off enough to actually spit on a fan through a chain link fence during the "Animals" tour. "The Wall". I wasn't there. I don't know. But what I do know is this. This is the most succint lyric about alienation that has ever been written. Trying to find your Father. "Boy, don't you end up like me." Listen to the album. It all goes back to "Mother". Roger had it right. And every word he ever wrote after that consists of that song. What does it mean to be a man? "Ooo, I need a Dirty Girl." Damn straight.
