Morifade are a Swedish band that deals with epic, symphonic Power Metal with a touch of progressive elements. The band was formed back in early 1992 (under the name Gothic) in a little Swedish town called Vikingstad by three young guys, the guitarists Jesper Johansson and Fredrik Johansson together with drummer Kim Arnell. The band was later the same year joined by bass player Henrik Weimedal and the framework of Morifade’s line-up was completed. The only position to be filled was a singer. After a long search and testing of different singers without any good results, Fredrik was able to do it during the time of finding a better vocal replacement.
