Moonpools & Caterpillars Biography

On May 23, 1995, Eastwest/EEG released the major label debut album from Moonpools & Caterpillars. This Glendale, California four piece gives us Lucky Dumpling as their first offering. Lucky Dumpling was produced by Richard Gottehrer (Blondie, Go-Go's, Judybats, Jeffrey Gaines) and Jeffrey Lesser (Lou Reed, Barbara Streisand) at Bearsville Studios.
Moonpools & Caterpillars live in Los Angeles and played many a night at the Whiskey-A-Gogo. Lead singer Kimi Ward Encarnacion is known for being a whirling energy blast on stage. JayJay Encarnacion gives Moonpools & Caterpillars their distinct guitar sounds, which vary from ethereal chorusing to large, wall of sound distortion. Bassist Tim DePala and drummer Gugut Salgado finish up the line-up as the rhythm section.

Mermaids are real i belive in mermaids and mermaid powers i have heating power but not a mermaid tail it will come some day. My wish will come true some day on the moon pool when i get in the moon pool i will turn into a mermaid i wish i still belive in mermaids even though i'm 10 and in the 5th grade. i will have the best day ever if that happened. Be a dream come true. So please make it come true remeber this i know where you live and i will come to your house and drink all your juice mmmmmm. Just kidding if your scared when i typed that your a whimp if your not scared your not a whimp.
