MISTWEAVER is a band from Burgos, in the northern side of
Spain. They play Melodic Death-Metal with many influences
of Heavy and Medieval music.
The band was formed in the end of 1997 but they started to
rehearse in January of 1998, when they found a place to do
it. In the beginning the music was a mixture of Death,
Black, Doom... but trying to search for their own style,
that is something the band has already got although they
are sometimes compared to Samael, Mithotyn, Crematory or
even Iron Maiden.

In November of 1999 MISTWEAVER started to record the first
mini CD called "Sol Obscurabitur" and it was released in
June of 2000. They released 1000 copies and nowadays are
almost sold out.
