Unfortunately it seems tour fatigue and internal squabbles affected the commercial release of the album which eventually contributed to the lukewarm reception of the song. I think the song failed on the charts because many people saw Culture Club and especially Boy George as a fad that was running out of time when the single was realesed in early 85. I still enjoy it every time I listen to it. Boy George knew how to write good songs.
