------ About the album You'll Rebel To Anything performed by Mindless Self Indulgence
Sharp, edgy, bloodcurling beats. These words describe the Mindless Self Indulgence sound of the past. With that said, the new album is quite good. Decently fast, it gives you energy when you need a definite kick in the ass. But, one major underlining theme in this particular album is the darkness and the constant theme of suicide, as with the song "What Do They Know?" But, the cover of Rush's "Tom Sawyer" give the album a light mood also. If older MSI fans are looking for the edgier Frankstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy-type of songs, they will be a little disappointed, but still, for the group's collective 5th Album (with 6 EP's), they still sound as strong, and if this is a sign of the future of this band, I will still happily dance around the room in my boxers screaming. I'd give this CD a 4 out of 5
