Last June, I met a boy online who happens to live 3500 miles away from me. 2 days after we met, we started going out. He was my first boyfriend. 7 months later, he was really starting to piss me off, and he introduced me to his best friend (who also lives 3500 miles away from me). Next to my boyfriend, his best friend looked like a god. He was intelligent, listened to me, cared about my problems, etc. A month later, I broke up with my then-boyfriend and asked out his then-best friend, who said yes. I was his first girlfriend. It took my ex about a month to stop begging me to take him back. He still hates his ex-best friend though. 2 weeks after I finally got my ex away from me, my boyfriend broke up with me. That breakup lasted 3 weeks, and during it, he became one of my best friends and kept coming to me for romance advice. Given that I still loved him, that was unintentionally cruel. He went out with a girl for less than 24 hours during that week, she left him in a depression almost as bad as the one he left me in, and I never stopped loving him. Last week, I asked him back out and he said yes. He had apparently been thinking about me nearly constantly, realized he made a mistake, etc. Well, for the last week, he's hardly talked to me at all. We've constantly been at each other's throats. It's like however he felt about me before is gone now. I broke up with him an hour ago. Given the 6 hour time difference, he won't get that email for about 7 hours yet. By nature, I'm a pretty clingy girl, so I doubt he'll be expecting this, even though he was threatening breaking up with me earlier today. He thinks I can't live without him. He's wrong. Anyway, this is the first song I listened to after leaving him. Mika always makes me feel better, and when I borrowed his CD from a friend yesterday, My Interpretation quickly became my favorite song. Though I didn't exactly picture myself listening it to it like this. lol The thing with Mika is that people either love him or they hate him. I used to be on the hate side, but he won me over. It's a beautiful song. Very realistic. I give it either 4.5 or 5 stars.
