Review about Metal Icarus Excellent song | Reviewer: AnonymousDude | 9/22/2007 Haha, this was the first heavy metal song I ever enjoyed. I've since gotten into more avante-garde and heavier music, but I can still go back and enjoy the hell out of this song every once in a while. I must have listened to this one song over 500 times by now and I still love every second of it from the great power metal wailing guitars to Matos insanely high pitched tenor voice to the kickass precise drumming, even the funk informed breakdown about mid-way in the song. In my most honest opinion, this is one of the greatest songs ever written. It's utterly flawless from start to finish.
