All Time Low Memories That Fade Like Photographs Lyrics

Last updated: 07/19/2010 11:00:00 AM

I said I'd never forget your face
Vaulted away inside my head
And memories never seem to fade
You were the best part of my life, my last regret

Now I've walked this line a thousand times before
It hurts too much to bear
For you, I'd tear out my own heart
And write our names together

Your love is the barrel of a gun
So tell me, am I on the right end?
I could be nothing but a memory to you
Don't let this memory fade away

And in the end, we're turning on and off again
There's a look in your eye
And it's screaming "goodbye"
I'd hate to watch you cry

Your love is the barrel of a gun
So tell me, am I on the right end?
I could be nothing but a memory to you
Don't let this memory fade away

There's a look in your eye
And it's screaming "goodbye"
Now it tears me apart just to look at the sky
And I'd hate to watch you cry
I'd hate to watch you cry

Your love is the barrel of a gun
So tell me, am I on the right end?
I could be nothing but a memory to you
Don't let this memory fade away

why are you fighting over lyrics?
if it was a big deal - then pete would be having a shit-fit. so, obviously it isn't. and i highly doubt alex was thinking about fall out boy when he was writing this song about his brother!

To the first reviewer, "The Pros and Cons of Breathing" was released in 2003.. this song came out in 04. It would be hard for a band that would be new to making EPs and whatever to change the lyrics in that short a period of time. Normally when artists write their lyrics, it takes a really long time to make up music for the lyrics, and even longer to actually record! so yeah.. I doubt that they changed their song to copy Fall Out Boy, that far along in the recording process. Just saying, lol.
But yeah ANYWAYS i love this song like sooo much(: i kinda miss when all time low sounded raw like this, but their other stuff is still amazingful<333 :D

Just see which song was written first if it's a semi-big deal. Hahah,it doesn't really matter though. I think they're both totally amazing bands.

I especially love the lyrics to this specific song<3

no, it isn't.. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/16/09

you're clearly wrong, its not stealing a line at all.. it similar in the way its got barrel of a gun.. thats it.. choosing sides is common with lyrics and its usually different things that are the "barrels of guns" fobs being a pen.. ATL being the girls/guys love.

alot of bands use burning bridges metaphor.. did fob stela that from poeple?

they're song writers.

but none the less this is a fantastic song!

oops! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/21/08

Haha wow I just realized that ATL stole a line from FOB in this song... in "The Pros and Cons of Breathing," there is a line that goes "My pen is the barrel of a gun, remind me of which side you should be on." In this song, it's "Your love is the barrel of a gun, so tell me am I on the right end?"

I love ATL, and this is one of my favorite songs, but its amazingness is somewhat tarnished knowing they stole one of my favorite lines from Fall Out Boy.
