I was alone, Falling free,
Trying my best not to forget
What happened to us,
What happened to me,
What happened as I let it slip.
I was confused by the powers that be,
Forgetting names and faces.
Passersby were looking at me
As if they could erase it
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
I was alone,
Staring over the ledge,
Trying my best not to forget
All manner of joy
All manner of glee
And our one heroic pledge
How it mattered to us,
How it mattered to me,
And the consequences
I was confused,
By the birds and the bees
Forgetting if I meant it
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
And the Sex and the drugs and the complications
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
Baby did you forget to take your meds?
I was alone,
Falling free,
Trying my best not to forget

I've been a fan of Placebo for a long time,
and this is a very nice song.
But I would'nt say it's one of the better ones.

Although the lyrics are fairly simple they work really well. i love this song along with pretty much every other placebo song.. Just because the music isn't complex, doesn't make it anyless quality.

for what i'v heard. this song is about the singer of placebo. guy has to take about 8 different kind of drugs for depression and so on. whitout them he has audiovisual hallucinations.

Right placebo are truely, agreed by most, one of the best bands ever.
And Brian Molko is BEAUTIFUL. [This my second point to girls only.]
If Brian Molko came up to you and just went "If only [you were a man] I so would." You'd go and have a sex change right?!

The lyrics are so simple and the vocals are so raw. I love this song.

This song is the best in Placebo's succession of eccentric rock styled songs, being both compelling in its simplicity and striking in how it combines nearly atonal background with half-sung lyrics in order to produce a wholly musical feel. It's not emo, because it's not sad or self-pitying, it's just not your average "angry rock;" Placebo has a very mellow-intense alternating feel. A hit, certainly.

wow. self pity and emo nezz and 2 power chords. emo music is really pushing the limits.

this song is awesome on the cd, we play the album over and over again at the music shop i work at. the chours gets the whole shop singing. Also i saw placebo live, true greatness. this is a song you can easily fall inlove with.
The lyrical base of this song and most of the other songs found here are mundane and basic at best. They are too simplistic...They lack intellectual stimulation and creative content. EX: Beatles..."Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"....Musical Lyrical History!
I have all the Placebo albums and this new one Meds is thier best yet Molkos voice is much better and with a good mix of tracks makes for their most interesting listen yet on first listen there reallty arent any stand out tracks besides the obvious single Because i want you but after 3 or 4 listens it grows ans grws on you Dare i say their best album yet Top Tracks Infrared Post Blue Drag Because I want you Space Monkey Weak tracks Blind Pierrot the Clown All in All 8/10 WELL WORTH A SPIN NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED MIND!
