Review about Meadows Of Heaven One of the greatest | Reviewer: Within Temptation Fanboy | 12/9/08 I would agree with the previous reviewer that this one can be a bit repetitive, especially at the end, but this is one of Nightwish's best songs. I loved Tarja with them, but I believe their split was the best for both, as Tarja sounds better on her solo work, and Anette's voice just fits perfectly with Nightwish. This song showcases her voice particularly well, and is one of the most epic sounding songs they have ever made. It could stand to be longer, though. I consider 7 minutes to be the minimum for a good symphonic metal song. Who says it has to be short to be sweet? | Reviewer: FirustheHedgehog | 11/2/07 While this song may be uber long (7:10 to be exact) and can be repetetive at the chorus, it has some awesome vocals (even though no one can replace Tarja) and some excellent musical interludes. The violin and the bagpipes later on, plus the guitar and drums are a perfect blend. Worth the listen, definitely. I give it a 5/5. Great way to start out Nightwish's new album.
