Matt Nathanson was born at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA on March 28, 1973. Since picking up a guitar at the age of 6, Matt knew he wanted to be a musician. His strong, sincere lyrics and inspired musicianship have led many people to become die-hard fans after only a listen. His charm and sincerity in person, as well as his energetic and often humorous live shows have also endeared many a listener to his unique blend of acoustic folk and rock 'n' roll attitude. Raised in Lexington, MA, he attended Proctor Academy in Andover, NH as a highschooler, and later moved to beautiful Claremont, CA to attend Pitzer College.
