Yeah, it is very different and aggressive compared to their previous songs when Tarja was still around, but if you read the lyrics properly, there is a sense of guilt within the song itself. "With awakening the tears will begin To my everlasting shame silence took me" is obvious enough. "Greed, your master passion I feed the mouth that bites me" might be a more subtle indicator of how kicking Tarja from the band could've caused a backlash in the band, perhaps due to "greed" or whatever. Even the song itself has a hint of despair and sadness in it despite its overwhelming heavy feel. So, really, don't bloody judge a song on its obvious points or language.
