Martin was born on 23 July 1961 in Dagenham, Essex where he
spent his childhood. After, his parents moved to Basildon
to find new jobs.

As a kid, Martin used to be the shy type with few friends
and spent most of the time alone in his room reading

His main interests were languages, which he excelled in,
