------ About artist/band Martha Wainwright
Martha Wainwrights performance at Radio City as the opening act for Simply Red was by FAR the worst I have ever seen. Who ever booked her should be fired. First, she comes on stage in the dirtiest ratist looking jeans. THIS IS RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL not some bar in Soho. She sings 5 songs, all the time talking about her brother "Rufus" who ever the hell he is. She intros her songs like they are big hits. No one in the audience knew what she was talking about. She sounded terriable. Had her husband come out and play some sort of a piano and he was bad. Between every song she had to re-tune her gitar. Everyone was shouting "get off the stage", she was that bad. When she did leave, she tossed the guitar over her shoulder and just walked off, THANK GOD.
She is so bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

------ About the song B.M.F.A. performed by Martha Wainwright
Brilliant composition as performed. The sweetness and clarity of her voice perfectly transitioning to and articulating her rage. But then the break, and the regain in composure. Self-control regained (if ever really lost), and triumph over the situation she finds herself in.
