This song was my favorite Tucker tune when I was a teenager, and the steel guitar solo brought images of a peaceful wilderness to my mind. The first time I really listened closely to it, it almost brought a tear to my eye. Just beautiful.

THIS SONG SINCE I FIRST HEARD IT IN LATE 79 OR 80 IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST SONGS OF ANY GENRE THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD. A MANS LOVE SONG!!! I AM FROM SOUTH CAL I CAN REMEMBER ALL THE TIMES THAT I WOULD PLAY ON SURF TRIPS ALL OF THE COLLECTION I OWNED OF THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND. THEY COMPLAINED AT FIRST. BUT IT DIDN'T TAKE A SONG OR SO BEFORE THE 8-TRACK WAS JUST RUNNING ALL ROUND ITSELF. I ALSO TURNED THEM ON THE THJE ALLMAN BROS LESS COMMERCIAL STUFF (THEIR TRUE BEST STUFF) AND OF COURSE TO LYNARD SKYNRD.
