------ About the song Emily Harper performed by Mark Wills
I am a HUGE country fan, and even a Mark Wills fan, but I somehow never heard this song. Then I started dating an Emily Harper. She joked that she could never google herself because of "some stupid song." She'd actually never heard the song. She loves it, I love it, and we've been married for 5 years now.

from the first time that i heard this song,it struck out my heart since i have the habit of laughing at those who have disabilities,,i never realize that what i am doing is really bad until i heard this song. i was touched with the chorus and the "hey aren't we all"..it made me realize that i should be more thankful because i wasn't like them.this song became one of my favorites since then.
*****thanks 4 this song,,it brought a great impact to my life

------ About the song Emily Harper performed by Mark Wills
I first heard of Mark Wills back in 1998 or 1999. Mum bought his CD "Wish You Were Here" because she liked "Don't Laugh At Me". I used to always like "Emily Harper, but after reading the lyrics just now, I like it even more! I love songs where the singer/group sings about loving someone since they were kids and then getting married! I love the storyline about the song!

------ About the song Don't Laugh At Me performed by Mark Wills
This song is about someone who gets teased at a lot in or outside of school. Its like someone fails a test and someone makes fun of them for doin that. Everyone is different. Its like sometimes people doesn't think of what they say to others. I've been bullied in 7th grade and i was goin to tell the principal or a teacher, but i just dealed with it until the end of the school year and this song makes me cry sometimes since i have heard it from 5th grade. I still listen to it at least twice a week and hopefully this song will send out the perfect message to those bullies to realize that bullying is wrong! And the kids in this world who have gone through the stuff that it talks about in this song.

------ About the song Don't Laugh At Me performed by Mark Wills
This song makes me cry every single time I hear it. I don't have many friends, and I don't know why. The first thing anyone ever tells me is I'm fat. So, this song reminds me a lot of me. That's the first thing people always jump to saying because it is the most hurtful thing anyone can say to a person. It's not like I don't have to look at myself every single day. I know I'm fat. At lunch, I stopped eating my senior year because people would stop completely what they were doing to make fun of me eating. I don't even think I weigh that much. I weigh like 160, I'm almost 19. I hated my whole high school and intermediate years because of people calling me fat. I have had boys get with me, since I had big boobs, but then tell me not to tell anyone we were "together" because I was fat. I believe when we are with God, we will ALL look perfect. (:

------ About the song Holes in the Floor of Heaven performed by Mark Wills
I think about this song often....my grandma, whom I had lived with most of my childhood died when I was 15, she was the only person in my life at that point who had ever really taken care of me. The day after I told my father that I was getting married, I lost him too. I placed his picture in the front seat at our wedding and when my uncle gave me away he honored my daddy...when the preacher asked who gives this bride his response..."I do on behalf of her deceased father".
From a former fat kid | Reviewer: Jonah
------ About the song Don't Laugh At Me performed by Mark Wills
This song means so much to me. I used to be an overweight child. Like I was obese. In 6th grade I was probably 5'5, but I was near 200 pounds. Then I started to lose that weight. Now I'm a freshman in high school and I'm 5'10 190 pounds. But I was picked on a lot. I remember in 5th grade this kid picked the buttons on his calculator out of their sockets to throw them at me. I remember the popular kids used to play this game called "ZAP" where they'd write somebody's name and a time on somebody's hand. If the person looked at the name before the time, they had to ask the person out. Usually, it was one of the unpopular, unattractive kids. I was asked out a lot, and I remember looking at them with disgust and shame. Shame because I was ashamed of myself. That's changed my whole life, but it doesn't end there. I still get called fat sometimes. I understand those that get made fun of by those cruel kids at school. And we're all guilty, I've made fun of this kid at my school that we all hate because he's a jerk and a bully himself. We're all guilty, but we all need to be more conscious of it in the future.
