I love this song...my brother is a recovering addict and was deported to Canada for a DUI. He lived in the U.S. from the age of 1. He had to leave his son who was 3 at the time...He is clean now and heartbroken that he cannot cross the border to see his son...Thank you for this song. I'm making my nephew a slideshow from his first time seeing his dad (in Canada) after 3 years. My nephew deserves a dad. This song is amazing for those with loved ones passed, loved ones in the Military, prison or any one separated by mistakes or lifes heartaches...

It starts happy and hopeful, then there's the shock and eruption of disbelief, anger, the heat, the spiritualism, the rawness of the whole situation. Brilliant. great song!! but how come we never hear him on the radio!! ever. i never heard of him till i was shopping around on itunes. i HAD to download this cd. is he more of a local "celeb"?? most of his songs on the cd were so good. too bad they aren't playing him on local radio stations.

Im 12 years old and this song never fails to touche me everytime i hear it. it helps me to cope with thingss in life and not to worry about the past that what comes in the future is whats in store for me. songs like this never touch me this one just has that special touch to it. Aww omg....my nephews(Baby Dustin) dad (Dustin Sr.) just died three weeks ago in a terrible car accident :[. && my nephew is one year old...and my sister is having another baby coming soon in two more months and Dustin Sr. isn't here to watch them grow...but ill always remember he's watching up above...and this song just makes me think that this is Dustin Sr Singing to his son Baby Dustin!!!!!!
