Mama, I'm Coming Home Lyrics - Ozzy Osbourne

Review The Song (11)

Times have changed and times are strange
Here I come but I ain't the same
Mama, I'm comin' home
Times go by, seems to be
You could have been a better friend to me
Mama, I'm comin' home

You took me in and you drove me out
Yeah, you had me hypnotized, yeah
Lost and found and turned around
By the fire in your eyes

You made me cry, you told me lies
But I can't stand to say goodbye
Mama, I'm comin' home
I could be right, I could be wrong
It hurts so bad it's been so long
Mama, I'm comin' home

Selfish love yeah we're both alone
The rise before the fall, yeah
But I'm gonna take this heart of stone
I just got to have it all

I've seen your face a hundred times
Every day we've been apart
I don't care about the sunshine, yeah
'Cause mama, mama, I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home

You took me in and you drove me out
Yeah, you had me hypnotized, yeah
Lost and found an turned around
By the fire in your eyes

I've seen your face a thousand times
Every day we've been apart
I don't care about the sunshine, yeah
'Cause mama, mama, I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home
I'm comin' home

i have to chuckle | Reviewer: chris | 2/17/13

i have to say it makes mr giggle a little bit to read all the reviews on this song. yes its a great song, yes its very close to home in terms of ozzy and sharon. but i think i should put some of you out of your misery. when you say things like "ozzy wrote this for sharon" etc. it wsnt even written by ozzy, lemmy from motorhead wrote it. so when you say things like "the emotion from ozzy in this song is amazing", it just makes me chuckle a bit. still a great song written by a rock genius but in this case its lemmy kilmister not ozzy osbourne!!!

ozzy osbourne | Reviewer: Natasha | 7/25/12

i like ozzy's songs and i hope to hear all of them (i am 11 and have been more focused on KISS with a lot of other rock bands from before i was born on the side).my dad has abuot 6 randy rhoads posters and 1 iron maiden poster that we found after he died or a couple months before.crazy train is in ghost rider (the 1st one).

Just a great song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/4/12

I didn't really follow Ozzy. Once in a blue moon ill hear him on my rock & roll station. I normally listen to KIZZ and Montly Crue. Then, I herd this song on America's Got Tallent, and I've loved the song ever since. You can call me an idiot or a fuckface for not listening to ozzy. I've gotta admit, I'm mad at myself for not following ozzy. But, I found out how to play "Crazy Train" on my guitar and I can play this too. Im just here to say, this is, well, just a great song.

Brings silent tears | Reviewer: Zum yin yom | 12/6/11

Its impossible to say that i don't love OZZY's songs. It may not fake but its fact. That i love ozzy'S songs its hard to explain how much i loved to hear his musics, specially this song is dedicated for we all'S mom (wide). I request Ozzy to published more heart touching songs like mama i'm coming home, dear Ozzy i mis my mom i mis my mom.

Ummmm...am I the only one who is seeing the pervert typo in the first verse??! I sure hope that whoever is typing the songs on this site, isn't getting paid much!! It's obvious this is meant to be offensive!! GROW UP!!!

Best Song For Mother's Day. | Reviewer: Jay | 11/29/10

This Song really brought tears in my eyes. I think that Ozzy has dedicated this song to every Mother in this World. Ozzy Really Rocks. This Song really has a deep meaning in it & Zakk Wylde has given Justice to this Song by his great guitar work. This song is really Great, I love this song.

Great song | Reviewer: L | 7/13/10

Great song with bags filled with emotion in the guardian of metal's voice. It's about being away from his wife, Sharon and being on the road touring. Ozzy can have a super fast, kick ass song life bark at the moon and miracle man or a slow, emotional and beautiful song like Mama I'm coming home and Goodbye to Romance. I have nothing but respect for the guy who made heavy metal, Ozzy Osbourne

Love this song to tears | Reviewer: nikki | 9/15/09

I love this song so much, it's impossible to explain. A lot of slow songs now are not only bad but bland and emotionless. You can just hear the emotions in ozzy's voice.I don't know why, but sometimes this song makes me think of randy rhoads which makes me cry. I love ozzy! He is the best and always will be! R.I.P. Randy

Work of an Artist | Reviewer: Az Cullen | 4/3/09

I've got to hand it to Ozzy on this one I think that it is work of a true artist. When I first heard it I could just feel the emotion pouring out of Ozzy's voice, this really got me thinking on how good I have it because I love my mom to death and I think this song is so sad because the kid has gone through so much but still sees the mom that the kid grew up loving and still loves! Thank you Ozzy for making such a good song! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Amazing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/13/07

Ozzy Osbourne is the greatest artist ever! He can do so much from fast songs like bark at the moon and paranoid to soft and meaningful songs like mama im coming home. Fucking amazing
