Madonna is young and hip | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/13/2008

Have been listening to the album non-stop, random play, repeat one, and all that. Encouraged me to put my stereo together so I can pump it.

Madonna is 50 yes. This is not relevant to her work or the production as she has consistently produced avant garde work and uses the very best people to produce real dance music. The advantage of age is that she was there every time. From studio 54 to now, and there are a lot of fun references to testify to her history and truth.
I cannot deny, we are the same age and I have "been there" too. Hardcore laneway warehouse dance clubs since the day. This one disk is a sure collector and would be more than suitable on 12" singles with all the remixing and so forth. Yeah, I really like it and her.

Puts Dance Music makers to shame. . . | Reviewer: James | 6/3/2007

The inevitable return to dance is definite one major feature feel of this album. The true queen of the dance floor. Madonna returns to what she does best. Belting out dance music. And thats not all. To her roots as she mentions. Here we see her sampling from ABBA's "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" on Hung Up through to the future disco-electro hyped dubbed "Get Together", 80's blips & bleeps anthem "Sorry" to the hyped pop-ish Jumping "Jump" pretty much sets the tone and feel for the rest of the album. Though a lot of the music here sounds rather manufactured. The sounds and production are at their height. Confessions On A Dance Floor is sure put to shame some of the House music makers out there in the market today. Well done Madonna! This album is definitely not her best album but NOT her worst. At the age of 50. Madonna is still riding on the waves of success. So go out and get her album and get to know her "Confessions on a dance floor" after it's she making confessions!

An IMMACULATE work!!!! the very best of her!! | Reviewer: Mudi | 3/1/2007

I think that the album is just great and is suitable for the pop queen. If you don't like the beat just enjoye other madonna's songs which are amazing too

One of her best Albums ever | Reviewer: Rivka Levy | 7/23/2006

This album is very interesting. I liked the words the lyrics and the music of ost of the songs. I think it's very beautiful the way the spirituality combained with Dance music. I love the songs with messeges and her songs are full of spiritual ones acpecialy in this album. If you liked the lyrics in Ray Of Light Album and American Life Album, And if you liked the Music in her Music Album you are about to fall inlove with Confession On A Dance Floor Album.
My favorite song in this album is Isaac. A great vocal duet between Madonna and an Israeli Singer.

    50 years old??? | Reviewer: pie_lady67@yahoo.com | 6/21/2006

I think this album is great. It has great rhythm and beat and it is truly great to dance to. I really enjoyed listening to it. Hung Up is definitely the best song on the CD but #6-12 are really good as well. #2-4 are alright depending on your mode. If you like dance/techno-ish music then you should definitely think of this CD. I would recommend it to anyone who has rhythm and enjoys music you can dance to! It's not her best CD but its not her worst. She is, afterall, like 50 years old and Madonna is doing pretty well for her age. You defineitly have to giver her credit for that. GO buy her CD and i know you'll enjoy it just as much as I have!
