I have loved the song mimi from the first time I heard it many years ago,I loved the song so much because it was about the love of a child. The song has special meaning for me now because my grandaughter alexis calls me mimi.I can't imagine ever being away from her she is everything to me. In the song it says, I understand why you cry alone at night, my grandaughter will never cry alone as long as her mimi is there for her.
