Low Light Lyrics - Pearl Jam
Review The Song (1)
Clouds roll by
Reeling is what they say
Or is it just my way?
Wind blows by, low light
Side-tracked, low light
Can't see my tracks, your scent-way back
Can I be here all alone?
Clear a path to my home
Blood runs dry
Books and jealousy tell me wrong
I WILL feel, calm
Voice blows by, low light
Car crash, low light
Can't wear my mask, your first, my last
Voice goes by
Two birds is what they'll see
Getting lost upon their way
WIND ROLLS by, low light
Eye sight, low light
I need the light
I'll find my way from wrong, what's real?
The dream I see

Synesthesia and Pearl Jam to me | Reviewer: Joy | 12/7/11
I seem to have feelings for music. A lot of people do. Pearl Jam seems to open mine up and vividly grab my imaginations' attention. Low light is one that always places me in an old 1970 Convertible. Maybe a Cadillac. I'll listen to it and describe now;
A street, with lights, it's night time. Driving in the small, low populated town. Glitterying lights you can see through the windows. I'm in the back, It's cold and i'm enjoying it in a blanket. The blurry lights slowly roll pass by. I'm drawing things on the fog on the window. The twinkling skies Are all we see when two headlights in front of us slowly collides into us. I'm still drawing things on the windows even as they shatter and my finger starts to bleed. Lights are everywhere yet again. Watching clouds at night as it's cold and raning in the middle of the street while still being fully awake and not a scratch on me, yet I'm laying and being treated as a corpse. Not saying a word, not making a movement... being lifted up, being carried away, and still with movements in the air with my bloody fingers drawing hearts and stars in the blurry, sparkly sky, like the glass window.
End of song.
that's what I see when I hear the song. I love how they leave it up to us to get a feeling from their songs. They give us a lot to feel. I love them eternally. Low light is beautiful. I adore the bass in this. Ament is certainly a great bassist.
