I, not only, listen to this song, but also, watch the music video of 'Love Song for a Vampire' about five times a day. Everything is so beautiful. The song was written for the unending love between Dracula and Mina, even in the afterlife. Watching the music video of this song, makes the song even more beautiful. All the emotions conveyed by the lyrics are beautifully depicted in the video. To top it all, there is a lovely waltz between Dracula and Mina, towards the end of the video. Simply stunning!!

a lot of people dont like it (their loss) they associate it with the movie in a negative way, the lyrics are beautiful, haunting, i find this song so personal even though it has nothing to do with me.

What can I say about this song that other's haven't already said. And yet I have to comment. It's such a beautifully touching SAD song because you can feel the pain of love torn away. It makes me want to cry every time I hear it too, like the "Learn to be Lonely" from the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. I love that will never be. Annie Lennox has always produced beautiful music.

I agree, I have experienced that myself, like the rare rose she mentions I found that love I had longed for all my life and insanity took it away from me, this can really happen and then just a realm like those of vampires could help you try to explain that feeling of loving someone for eternity...this song captures that sensantion with its beautiful music, breath taking lyrics and her exceptional voice.
