AH LOUIE LOUIE, OH NO, SAYING WE GOTTA GO.

YEAH, YEAH ,YEAH, YEAH, YEAH...

I SAID A LOUIE LOUIE, OH BABY, SAID A WE GOTTA GO.

A FINE LITTLE GIRL SHE WAITS FOR ME.

TO CATCH A SHIP ACROSS THE SEA

SAIL THAT SHIP I ALL ALONE

WE NEVER KNEW I MAKE IT HOME

A LOUIE LOUIE, NAH NAH NAH NAH, SAYIN' WE GOTTA GO, OH NO

SAID A LOUIE LOUIE, OH BABY, SAID A WE GOTTA GO.

THREE NIGHTS AND DAYS I SAILED THE SEA

THINK OF GIRL ALL CONSTANTLY

ON THAT SHIP, I DREAM SHE THERE

I SMELL THE ROSE AH IN HER HAIR

LOUIE LOUIE, OH NO, SAYING WE GOTTA GO

YEAH, YEAH ,YEAH, YEAH, YEAH...

I SAID AH LOUIE LOUIE, OH BABY, SAID A WE GOTTA GO

OKAY, LET'S GIVE IT TO 'IM RIGHT NOW

SEE JAMAICAN MOON ABOVE

ALL DAY LONG ISN'T IT LOVE

I TAKE HER IN MY ARMS AGAIN

I'LL TELL HER I'LL NEVER LEAVE AGAIN

LOUIE LOUIE OH NO, SAYING WE GOTTA GO...

YEAH, YEAH ,YEAH, YEAH, YEAH...

I SAID AH LOUIE LOUIE, OH BABY, SAID AH WE GOTTA GO

I SAID AH WE GOTTA GO NOW...

LETS GO ON OUTTA HERE

LET'S GO!

The Kinks | Reviewer: Michael Teepell | 1/30/10

I just downloaded the best of the kinks discography and they did sing Louie Louie from the EP album KINK-SIZE year:1965 2nd song on the list.Louie Louie is an American rock 'n' roll song written by Richard Berry in 1955. It has become a standard in pop and rock, with hundreds of versions recorded by different artists. The song is written in the style of a Jamaican ballad; and tells, in simple verse-chorus form, the first-person story of a Jamaican sailor returning to the island to see his lady love.

The song you are referring to was Brother Louie by the group Story.

It started out something like this: She was black as the night, Louie was whiter than white, there's a danger when you taste brown sugar... Go to a search engine and type in {Brother Louie lyrics} and you will find the whole song.

'Brother Louie' was written by Errol Brown and performed and released by his band Hot Chocolate in 1973.

Hot chocolate had a hit with Brother Louie in the U.K. (#7) but never charted in the U.S. The Stories had the hit everyone remembers in the U.S.

Kingsman not Kinks | Reviewer: Bob | 8/19/07

As I recall (and yes I do remember some of those times back then) we all danced to 'Louie Louie' by the Kingsman, and 'You Really Got Me' by the Kinks. Although many groups did record this song...the FBI only checked on the Kingsman version.....some great times back then.....keep the faith baby!!!! And dance, dance, dance....
