Is this song referring to somebody specific? Always thought it was making fun of the norwegian black metal scene or something with the greasepaint, along with the idea that Gene Simmons has shown himself to be a money grubbing jerk recently and his character in Kiss is The Demon.
Catchy song. Makes me think of Alice Cooper if he was born 20 years later. I always misheard "via hell incorporated" as "my darling don't berate it" and misheard "skitch" as "snitch" which I thought was funny.

Each song sends a message ... Some messages are widely seenable, but in Lordi's songs ain't (in most of them though). I really like the part "Brothers and sisters unite in the fatih". It can be seen not just like "faith" but for whole humantiy to unite and fight against darkness thats overwhelming our lifes. They're really amazing band and I'm glad that they won on Everovision among all those flashy-slow-sleep-time pop songs. They had courage, now we're waiting for someone like them to have it too.

Lordi reminds me of ICP. You listen to them both and think "satanists". But if you actually listen to their music, you'll notice otherwise. This is the first time i've ever heard of Lordi (just saw this song in a Youtube video) and think i'll check them out a little more.

With ICP, every CD is part of a story with a strong Christian theme. You wouldn't think it from listening to some of their songs, but you have to listen to them in order, as well as listening to the CDs in order. It all tells a story and it's a damn good one, lol. Look up "Dark Carnival (Insane Clown Posse)" in wikipedia.

Anyway, i'm gonna go off and listen to some more Lordi and see what the rest of their stuff is like.

Nah they dress like monsters because it distinguishes them from your everday metal or rock band. I think they do really well for a band that's been around for so long, these guys have been around ages and they are still going strong and i hope they last even longer because their music is great.

Interesting band. I like their originality and the way they bring something to rock that is just not evident anywhere else.

I don't know why they dress like freaks though, their music is good enough to not have to - and it would give them a chance to do a better stage performance.
