------ About the album Whip-Smart performed by Liz Phair
This CD is one of my all-time favorites! If you're from the Nirvana era, this is a must buy!
Funny story, actually. My copy sat outside in its case for an entire year (in Baltimore weather--really really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter with high humidity year-round). I was so excited when my grandfather pulled it out of our ferns at a family cook-out. At the time I was about 13 and he and the rest of my family insisted on hearing the CD. Let's just say this CD isn't exactly "G" Rated, if you know what I'm sayin'. I guess it's not really PG either. Or PG-13. Or R... So, I probably shouldn't have been listening to it at that age. Perhaps that's why I'm so messed up now--haha!

------ About the song Down performed by Liz Phair
I've resently have attached myself to this song, I think that Liz Phair's lyrics are so real that we at some point of our lives can relate to the words she sings. I think that not only her realistic approach but the honesty, emotion and metaphors used in this song and all her songs are clever. TO top it all her tone is beautiful and her guitaring talents seem to amaze me, I really hope she puts this on a cd, and dont use ilegal forms of downloading liz deserves her money!
