------ About the album Tails performed by Lisa Loeb

This album has seen me through countless art projects during my time at high school, and as I set off to study design at university I have no doubt that I will turn to Lisa's Tails for moral support during late night project work! Normally I find it distracting to listen to music as I paint or draw, but Tails has such a great mix of acoustics, poetic lyrics and raw TUDE that I find I can pick and choose songs to suit my mood / approach without even leaving the album tracklist. A good variety of sounds; the tranquil lullaby of songs like When All The Stars Were Falling, the soulful heartache of Sandalwood, up against tracks of hair-flipping rock and roll anxt like Garden of Delights (the perfect theme song for when you're in the mood to teach someone a well-deserved lesson, but can't). At first, the cryptic nature of the lyrics put me off, but after lessons in poetry analysis Lisa's lyrics read as works of lyrical art that are wide open to personal interpretation and after a while sound like they were written just for you :-) Cannot recommend it enough. - the perfect Indie Rock album, and a good source of inspiration for aspiring guitarists - one of my favourites: 5 stars.
