Paul Tucker spent many years in Newcastle trying to make
big time in music and after several years finally sold all
his musical equipment and studied for a degree in French
and German. After graduation he found himslef with no
active work to pursue and he took up working in a Newcastle
night club. Over the years he retained one song he had
writen, Ocean Drive, which he could play but couldnt sing.
Determined to produce a record he put up "singer wanted"
posters around Newcastle.

Our Year 12 (seniors) Choir sung this song at our Valedictory Day (Graduation). it made all the yr 12s cry and we stood up and were clapping at the end of it. this song really sums up the feeling of graduating, especially from a really special year group. threeof my best friends and I always sang this song. we metin school and this song expresses the truth of real friendship.
I kind of lost touch with those friends from school but I know we are still really good friends
the song reminds me of the great time we had together.
we went through a lot and there were hard times but we made it through - together.
