Life Is A Pigsty

It’s the same old S.O.S.
But with brand new broken fortunes
And once again I turn to you
Once again I do I turn to you
It’s the same old S.O.S.
But with brand new broken fortunes
I’m the same underneath
But this you, you surely knew
Life is a pigsty
Life is a pigsty
Life is a pigsty
Life is a pigsty
Life, life is a pigsty
Life, life is a pigsty
Life, life is a pigsty
Life is a pigsty
And if you don’t know this
Then what do you know?
Every second of my life I only live for you
And you can shoot me
And you can throw me off a train
I still maintain
I still maintain
Life, life is a pigsty
Life is a pigsty
And I’d been shifting gears all along my life
But I’m still the same underneath
This you surely knew
I can’t reach you
I can’t reach you
I can’t reach you anymore
Can you please stop time?
Can you stop the pain?
I feel too cold
And now I feel too warm again
Can you stop this pain?
Can you stop this pain?
Even now in the final hour of my life
I’m falling in love again
Again
Even now in the final hour of my life
I’m falling in love again
Again
Again
Again
I’m falling in love again
Again
Again
Again

life is a pigsty | Reviewer: Abel | 6/21/2008

music to my ears is what i have to say, this song is Morrissey through and through, and if he doesnt make you think twice about how much we as humans affect ourselves then you dont know what it is to be human. it seems he knows exactly what to say to re-assure you thats you are human and you have a right to feel this way because everything is not candy coated like most people make it out to be.

The Ultimate | Reviewer: liz | 1/26/2008

Having been a fan of Mozza and the Smiths for more years than i care to remember, this is the man at his ultimate best!! Having seen him perform it recently at The Roundhouse, London, it blew me away.. Yes there was a tear in the eye, touches the heart this track, let's face it we can all relate to it...

me me me me | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/6/2008

Enough about you, he didn't write that song thinking about you, self centered miserable bitches. You don't always have to relate your sorry life to every song you hear or every movie you see.

"Somebody have to flip burgers and I'm glad it's not me"

Amazing | Reviewer: Josh | 12/13/2007

Yeah, it was raining on my way to work and then all of a sudden this song came on with the thunder crashing and rain falling in the background of the song and it was a wonderful way to classify the misery outside the cab window. Life indeed is a pigsty. But the pain Morrissey sings about is about a love which he wishes to ignore but knows will only resurface - a pain most of us will always endure.

perfect song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/11/2007

Really, if you do not cry with this song you're not a human being.... i agree my friend

the most adorable song i've ever listened to.....

this song changed my whole life

yes i am a human being.....

life is sometimes a pigsty!!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/8/2007

Sean i just can't understand the way u are thinking mate!!
so according to you, singers or groups should not play music on countries which have suffered from war
(like Serbia) or from poverty (like Mexico)???
don't think that the fans would appreciate your thinking...

furthermore SP Morrissey isn't a medicine for depression...doctors are the solution 2 u Shimon!!
so no need to burn their cd's or not listening 2 them...but mozz hasn't ever said...hey guys who suffer from depression..listen to me and be ok!!!

this song is magnificent...2 my opinion the best of his solo carrer...and equivalent to It's Over
keep the good job Mozzer!! we love you

enough misery-by-numbers gazillionaire rocker | Reviewer: sean | 9/30/2007

I haven't listened to him in so long. Well done Simeon for breaking away, I was once trapped in that stew myself, it does you absolutely no good whatsoever to listen to Morrissey, it just keeps you there.

Watching him perform this in Serbia (on youtube) is an irony I can barely believe - he lives in Clarke Gable's mansion counting his millions of dollars and he's singing about his put-on misery to people who have been through civil war and Nato bombings.
Boo-hoo for you Morrissey

Enough! | Reviewer: Shimon | 9/4/2007

I have spent my last two years, listening to Steven Patrick Morrissey, suffering with it, and handeling my pain. Well, f..k it. I am done digging in my own misery. I will stand up, with the help og music providing hope. I'm out here, my twelve Morrissey/Smiths record will never be played again, on any stereo.

Really, if you do not cry with this song you're not a human being. Its melancholical melody and the painfully true lyrics that morrissey performs are such a great shot into anyone's soul.

powerful | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/16/2007

I have been listening to morrissey for a long time.. but nothing has ever hit me like this song... not by morrissey or any other artist... it is so intense and powerful
