It tells of two identical, but completely different lives, and asks 'which one are you living?' First there's the arrogant, selfish and angry life; and then there's the forgiving life. God's word says we should forgive others, as he himself forgave us by putting his son on the cross. It portrays two different people living two totally different lives. This song makes the listener consider what they will leave behind if their life comes to an abrupt end. It helped me realize that nothing is certain without the promise we recieved from Jesus Christ. If something were to happen to someone who believed Jesus was the Christ and died to save them from themselves and then had given themselves completely over to the Lord, they can rest assured that if their life was to come to a sudden end, they would be safe from an eternity in hell because that was the promise Jesus made when He was crucified on the cross.
