This song brings me back to my first crush who became my first boyfriend in school. I remember it took me forever to try and record it from the radio to my portable tape recorder and after i finally got it right I couldn't wait to write down the words. I was in foster care from the age of 3 months old until I turned 18 and have very little good memories so hearing this song was a great memory. A big Thank you to the writers, Albert Hammond & Carol Bayer Sager and to the singer, Leo Sayer.
