Verse 1
Marching Along, Like A Good Soldier Does.
I’m Setting Sail, With Anchors Holding Me Down.
Pack Up My Bags, Stow Them Away.
Bidding Farewell To All That Is Safe.
Chorus
Will I Come Up For Air, Come Up For Air.
After A while The Current is Calling Me,
lulling Me Waving Goodbye.
I’m Out Here Alone, Oh God Can You Save Me Now?
Sinking My Heart Turns To Stone.
Verse 2,
Withering Away, Her Shrinking Violet Dies.
So Full Of Life, These Lights Have Dried Me Out.
Into The Sea, I Needed A Drink.
I Never Thought This Would Consume Me Whole.
Chorus
Save Me, Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me, Take Me Home.
Wishing That This All Would End.
Save Me, Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me, Take Me Home,
Wishing That This All Would End.
Chorus
Save Me Take Me Home,
When I Come Up For Air,
Save Me Take Me Home,
When I Come Up For Air,
Save Me Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me Take Me Home.

Review about Lead Sails(And A Paper Anchor) Atreyu | Reviewer: Makaloraii | 11/12/09
The only band that can do screaming throughout an entire song (this kind of screaming, not like Endwell or Slipknot) is Chimaira.
Atreyu is amazing. They are better than studio live, and they have never ceased to amaze me.
love them | Reviewer: Morgan | 8/21/09
I honestly love this song. At first, I loved becoming the bull and falling down because those are the songs that made me buy the album in the first place, but I love this song and slow burn the most. I love all the songs. Atreyu rocks. I've never heard any other albums, but that don't mean they weren't probably awesome. Thumbs up to Atreyu!!!!

"Screaming" is talking/singing loudly, which is not what Atreyu did in previous albums... what they did was more of a growl, or even coughing.
but to the point, this song is very good lyrics wise, but the album could see more depth in guitars/bass/drums. The producer is to blame for this, he was the one who sent Good Charlotte down the same path. I'm sorry that I like the insruments to have the same importance as the singers...
Nice transformation. | Reviewer: Christina | 7/6/09
See, I hate people who say they've sold out. Like Ashton said, bands do change. There's still some screaming in some of their stuff. Get over it. They aren't a different band.
In my opinion, this is a fantastic album. My favorite out of all the others.
great song | Reviewer: alex | 5/11/09
thats all i have to say. the whole album rocked, but this song is one of my favorites off it. i've loved atreyu for a couple years now, and i really like the new sound that they put out there with this album
Perfect | Reviewer: Jesse | 5/6/09
i seriously just love this song, its a nice change from the former albums in which the screaming was a little excessive but,i still liked the other albums.whereas this song is pretty much perfect, vocals and everything.the tone is amazing and well, the whole song is.
Amazing beautiful song | Reviewer: Anonymous the superhero | 4/19/09
What an amazing song, ahem... album... why do all you "hardcore" screamo fans try to put down this amazing band?!!? I'm not all into people screaming their lungs out to entertain people. If you really want some screaming with guitar, get a frickin' guitar, learn to play it, and scream some useless words. That's all I have to say about that. You never know, maybe you'll get sick of it too.
This song is pretty amazing, Alex has come a pretty long way with his screaming. In their earlier albums his screams were really brackish and kind of painful to listen to. Some were alright, but most sucked. This album his screams are less brackish and has more tone and quality in them, and he sounds great. Brandon has also come a long way as did the rest of the band. They have more of a solid sound to them now.
ive always liked atreyu, but thought that the screaming was a tad bit much. this recent cd is really a refreshing turn from what you'd come to expect from them. lead sails is the song that made me want to buy the cd in the first place; the lyrics are so poignant and heartfull. and, its good to be able to understand the lyrics for once :)
Very nice. | Reviewer: asjdklf | 7/16/08
So. Atreyu's earlier albums to me were okay. I heard "Becoming the Bull," and read some reviews about how they've sold out, and all that crap. To me, the screaming was a bit much in the previous albums... I could listen to it, but I got sick of it quickly. But I figured I'd listen to this album, and honestly? I like it better. I prefer screaming when it's not done through the ENTIRE song. So thumbs up to Atreyu, in my opinion, and props for having the courage to change their style, despite the obvious negative feedback they'd get from old fans.
