Review The Song (3)Print the Lyrics

This fear that clouds my mind
This fear that just won't die
Blacked out this world
Nothing's pure, nothing's real

Oh, I'm just bidding my time
'Till I wave Goodbye

If I could, you know I'd die
The final rest, just one big lie
This trip that's broke my back
My death is war, it's where I'm at

Oh, I'm just bidding my time
'Till I wave Goodbye
Oh, Goodbye
Oh, Oh, Oh yeah

Review about Layne

Layne | Reviewer: Richard | 1/28/2008
This song is absolutely written about Layne Staley. There is no question about it. Also, check out "Layne" by Staind. Another song written about Staley. Staley obviously influenced a lot of ppl. RIP Layne

    Layne Staley | Reviewer: Andrew | 12/22/2007

I agree with the other person i'm pretty sure he wrote this song for Layne Staley because he had such a powerful voice and he died from a drug overdose in 2002.

I haven't seen other reviews on this song, but i'm sure that BLS dedicates this to the singer that probably inspired Zakk Wylde to sing such an awesome voice...Layne Staley, singer of Alice In Chains and Mad Season. Think so?
