It's 2 a.m. and I'm listening this great song for 13rd time. this is the second week that I know 3DG.
This song reminds me a girl who left me 3 years ago and I was so sad. she married a boy from her work.
But now I'm allright and when I see her photos I smile instead of crying.

During my senior year of high school, I began dating a girl who I eventually fell in love with. We dated for about 20 months before she just walked away - no real reason, just that she "[couldn't] do it anymore" and that the last few months of our relationship were a lie, and that she didn't really love me during that period of time despite how many times she said she did. For the next few months after the break up, every single one of my so-called friends went pretty far out of their way to hide the fact that she had moved on to someone else just a few weeks after our relationship ended, and it wasn't until six months into their relationship that I found out. I swore her off, cut off all contact, and declared that I was okay. I knew deep down that she would do the same thing to him, and after about 20 months, she left him same as she left me.

So this song perfectly put into song my state of mind throughout this entire journey, and it is by far my favorite song by any artist ever. It is so beautiful, yet bears such a haunting and depressing melody. The lyrics are perfectly arranged. The vocals are truly angelic (Adam is one of the best singers in the world, no question about it). The instrumentation appropriately builds and evolves throughout the song.

I hope this song doesn't become lost with time, because it truly is one of the best love songs I have ever heard.

i started listening to this song the other day, it applied the my last major realtionship. He fell inlove with another girl, i was completely heart broken but i still loved him. i didnt know what to do, i still wanted to be with him, but he walked away, went to her, than she broke his heart. him and i were still friends. and still said i love you. i didnt know what to do, when i saw him my heart stopped.

after a little while he started hating her, and sadly i still loved him, he doesnt want me back, and i couldnt get over him. after hearing this song i see now that i need to move on, with help from my friends and the people i love, im slowly recovering from a bad depression because of this guy.

hopefully soon, i will be able to make it through the day without crying or thinking about him

I personally believe that this is one of the best songs Three Days Grave has came out with. I could listen to it over and over and over, especially when I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me:(.. With a stupid whore that he just wanted to get some from because he knew he could, but nevermind that I just love this song because it has so much meaning to it. i do believe this song can be taken in different terms like the person below me said. most of their songs have double meanings to them. i can relate to it in a bf situation but also in a family sitution. like a divorce or you not trusting your parents because they broke your trust. i honestly love 3dg an i have all their new album its the most played album on my itunes :)

I'll have to admit this is a damn good song, mainly because I think we all can relate to it in some way. Whether it be boyfriend/girlfriend, friend, or parental/family issues.

In relation to myself, I have been dating a guy off and on for five years now. Highschool sweethearts in a sense. We made it the first year with minor trouble, then he moved to a different school and that's when it all started to crumble. Two months into the new schooling, I found out he'd been seeing another girl and cheated on me. We called it quits for 10 months until that relationship failed and he came crawling back to me. We made it another year and a half and he had to go to a new city the next province over for school for two months. He pretty much stopped all contact with me and I found out he had a new girlfriend there.. This happened about two or three more times over the course of two and a half years with different girls...

It's amazing how love makes you stick around when clearly you know it's never going to work out unless there's a serious miracle. Unfortunately, I still love him and always will. Now, after fooling around on several occasions, I'm two months pregnant with his child and needless to say, he hasn't changed.. And he's unsupportive about the pregnancy.

i could relate to this.. i loved this girl with all my heart! i told her everything that ppl say about her.. what i think and feel about her... i tell her everything... everyday i wake up i tell her goodmorning beautiful... and at night a goodnight.. sweet dreams.. i love you...she always said it back.. i asked her if she like any other guys other then me she said no.. and eeryone kept telling me she not right for you she treating you like nothing.. i didnt believe them and i only believed it when she told me.. or i saw with my own eyes.. i was so in love i thought we were perfect.. after this one day...i was hugging her in the mall.. and there was this guy she liked near us.. she saw him... i was holding her hand then she slowly slipped away to him.. she didnt even say bye.. didnt even look back at me.. she just went off to him... holding his hand.. walking away... my eyes got teary.. i stopped breathing.. and had my hand on my chest.. she was my first love... but my worst... my friends and everyone was right.. i talked to her 3 weeks after... i told her how could she do this to me.. she said.. i lied to you all the times when i told u that i loved you and stuff.. i said.. so after 2 years.. u decide to tell me now.. i cant believe i fell in love with a whore... then thats when i was talking to my friends they said i was the last to know..

I love this song.

I dated a girl for almost 4 years, did everything for her and when this song came out I couldn't stop listening to it because it related to me like no other song, I loved this woman so much and she made it seem like everything was perfect then randomly one day she told me a bunch of things bothered her that made no sense and made me feel horrible like I was treating her poorly ... then she left me for another man, soon after married the guy, but everyone else knew how poorly she was treating me and told me, warned me etc and I refused to accept it because I was blinded by love and thought she could never do that, but she all of a sudden she said "we were not ok" and let me do everything to make things right for months, beg, do w/e she wanted, spend all my money etc and then she left me, and even after that I wouldn't accept it and thought she was confused and she would come back, but then I found out "she left for him" and "I was the last know."

Hut after all this time you realize how much better off you, and how you open your eyes and realize "this was my worst love" how horrible you were treated and that you are lucky because if someone can do that once, they will do it again.

I was thinking it was about her leaving him for another man; he sings to her and to him. It COULD also refer to her leaving him for another girl. It's not specific. But it also seems like it would be a great metaphor for drugs, as in the girl has become a hardcore junkie. I dunno. :)

Agree that it is one of their best while still being very 3DG. Many songs on this album sound a little more generic than they usually go.

this is such a great song, and 3DG's best song in my opinion.

for those who are unsure, the meaning of this song is that his girl leaves him for another man, while everybody but him knows. he starts to explain that shes basically a hoe, and that she will do the same thing to the next guy she is with, and that it will just keep going on.
