I respect your opinion, but this album has far more to offer than this song...Ashes to Ashes, Stripsearch,Helpless...FNM are have always been in constant transition and have always done it well...none the less, it's all a matter of opinion and some of us have been able to flow with the changes, some not....I for one skipped Stripsearch my first time listening to the album because, calling myself a "metalhead" it just sounds too techno for my tastes, but my eventual actual listening to the song blew my mind as not only did they get me with a very synth heavy song, but with Mike's hauntingly amazing vocals and the heavy guitars that come in with an unreal atmosphere shift in the song (much like Small Victory off Angel Dust)It ended up one of my favorite FNM songs....what about Collision. Got that feeling, Paths Of Glory...all FNM albums are masterpieces!

This album was a joy for Faith no more fans when it came out. The only problem was that it didn't in any way match the quality of King for a Day or Angel Dust.

The problems the band were having musically were multiplied by the music industry 'execs' who surrounding them. They constantly approved of anything they did in the hope that they would churn out another album.; knowing that it would be bought by a respectfully big audience no matter how awful it was. I think Mike Patton said it best when he said: "our next album would have been a piece of shit".

The biggest praise that I can aim at them was being realistic and intelligent enough to realise that it wasn't worth it. A true musician will never make poor music in return for fame. This song however remains a shining reminder of how good this band really were.
