Lamb formed in Manchester in 1995 and were signed almost
immediately afterwards by Skint records on the strength of
a brilliant two song demo. Studio wizard Andy Barlow and
his singer Lou Rhodes found themselves making their debut

This song is amazing. I was in a park in south america somewhere, and there was a huge outdoor staged event being planned. They did the entire sound checks with this song!!!
I was very disappointed to discover that it was only a sound-check, and not ACTUALLY Lamb. :'(

in my opinion people shouldnt assume that this song is about some close friend or a lover. everything is one and i dont think we should idolise one person over the other. ofcourse many of us have a loved one who they feel so deeply connected to. but just know that you are always on your own - alone. and in my opinion such a beautiful song about the angel Gabriel has brought to you to remind you the warmth you have inside without anyone else's help.
