The writer talks about knowing who and where he is, and feeling no disgrace for being "naked." I think the guy feels like he's an imperfect man, but doesn't feel bad about them when he's with his object of affection because her love validates him. Song writers now-days are not in tune, nor do they have much depth when it comes to meaningful lyrics. A decent melody, a few catchy phrases and your pretty much able to entertain todays jello-brained youth.
