Review about Kiss songs
"Beth" is the best!<3 | Reviewer: KISSfan101
------ About the song Beth performed by Kiss

Kiss it band in the best band in the world. Peter Criss is an amazing singer and drummer. "Beth" is my favorite song and I'm going to sing it in my school talent show. Thank you Mr. Criss for changing my life. Every time I heat it I think of my cousin who passed away last year.

Long Live Kiss and Charisma | Reviewer: Gigs39
------ About the song Charisma performed by Kiss

To insult the musical genius of Paul and Gene is absurd!! Charisma is my favorite Kiss song with Lick It Up coming in second. Bob-O, get a life. You obviously have no taste. Rock on!

KISSSSSS | Reviewer: Bill
------ About the song Strange Ways performed by Kiss

I agree with you about ACE best two songs , but strongly disagree with Destroyer being the bands last great effort with original line up. Ace was palying cards and drinking during most of the Destroyer sessions, Bob Erzin would not put up with his shit.
The next albulm " Rock -N-Roll Over " kicked ass and had more effort from the original four line up

Disco my eye | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song C'mon And Love Me performed by Kiss

If you think this is disco, go tell it to your jr. high classmates. I grew up in the 70s and will tell you first hand, this is what we called "Hard Rock" at the time. This is straight forward guitar based rock and like Neil, Kiss Alive was my first album. My heart skipped a beat the first time the needle skipped across the record and I realized it was worn out. haahaahaa yes, I'm old >=p

Ace is Unmasked | Reviewer: Kelly Matthews
------ About the song Torpedo Girl performed by Kiss

Unlike many Kiss fans, I really enjoy the Unmasked album. All though this song is not guitarist/vocalist Ace Frehley's best work, it has many redeeming qualities. The bass guitar/drum intro is very nice and memorable. It has a catchy chorus and drummer Anton Fig lays down some sweet double-kick at the close of the song. The lyrics are a little on the cheesy side, but overall it is still a solid tune.

Beth | Reviewer: shrluvsdolphins@yahoo.com
------ About the song Beth performed by Kiss

I love the song its heartbreaking yet beautiful first time I heard it was in the Kiss movie.."Kiss meets the Phantom of the Park" fell in love with it even at the age of 7 and still to this day and Im 40 its one of my all time favorite Kiss songs..

Wow. | Reviewer: Bob-o
------ About the song Charisma performed by Kiss

What an incredibly insipid, brainless, retarded song. Pretty much like everything else from KISS, I suppose. Those guys were like the kings of stupid fat-kid rock. Holy god, this is awful. Things like this almost make me glad rock is dead. And to "Charisma" the person... It was a word before Gene Simmons wrote a lyrical abortion around it. If I were you, I'd try to disassociate myself from this as much as possible.

No, but really Gene. Your charisma is outstanding. Was it your sweaty, smelling leather jumpsuit? Your gnarly jew-fro? Your pompous attitude or holier-than-thou pretentiousness? It's a good question. Just what in the flying ^*^# *WAS* your Charisma, you sagging has-been? I'd kinda like to know.

A mixed bag | Reviewer: Jozh
------ About the song Beth performed by Kiss

This song was written by Peter Criss before he joined KISS, yes, and as an artist, it's the song he is defined by (and probably his greatest lyric work ever), but that doesn't change the fact that it was recorded UNDER KISS'S NAME.

People oftentimes forget that, though the song was written by Criss, the other drummers (both of whom have made names for themselves as the unsung heroes of the band) have both held is role, and have both performed his part in its entirety on stage, and have surpassed his musical prowess, even if they could not create "Beth" per se. In fact, Both Eric Carr and Eric Singer have performed Beth in his place, and vocally surpassed him on several occasions.

To be a member of KISS means to deliver both onstage and off, and Criss was eventually dismissed for failure to do so. Eric Carr died shortly after recording his version, and Eric Singer was hired TWICE, and frankly, I like their renditions better anyway.

Yew, love this song | Reviewer: Bradley
------ About the song Detroit Rock City performed by Kiss

I'm only 15, almost 16 and I am inlove with this song, band, and genre of music. I hate the new techno/pop/hiphop shit they call music these days. The old songs have more music, killer solos, riffs, THE LOT! I bought a kiss, ACDC, eagles, Bon jovi and angels cd/records the other day and that's all I've don't the past week is listen to that and post stuff on Facebook, I say screw the new stuff, bring back 60's-90's rock and pop, out with new in with the old!!!

My First Album | Reviewer: Neil Crouse
------ About the song C'mon And Love Me performed by Kiss

KiSS "Alive" was the first record I ever got. I played that album so many times, the groves wore off the vinyl (Sh#t!, I Think I just dated myself). Because of this my favorite KiSS is original KiSS.
The first three albums were my next albums(They had the studio versions of all of the songs off of "Alive", plus more studio gems from the early to mid seventies.(again, dating myself LOL). I was such a loyal fan, even became a member of the KiSS army (Membership ID# IH1110-26).
I drove my parents absolutely nuts because I wouldn't listen to anything else except KiSS, my room was FULL of posters of Gene spitting fire and blood(love it). My Mom said she was actually afraid to go it my room, and would leave my laundry folded up in a basket beside my room door.
I grew up in a small town in Norther Ontario, we didn't have much "variety" when it came to keeping ourselves amused so I'd play "Alive" as loud as I could get away with my mouth full of water, pretending I was on-stage either spitting blood or spitting fire,(LOL-cut me SOME slack, I was only 8 or 9 yrs old). Maybe that's why I took up the base later on, although to be honest I'd really have to give Iron Maiden the thumbs up for why I chose the Base though. :)
