I really enjoy Kevin Devine as a singer/songwriter. He tells a lot of stories I can relate to. I must say that I feel for whoever he had in mind with this song. I think she's probably an very special person with dark hair and green eyes. There's no reason for her to feel bad. She has love - if she only realized there never were any blinders . . . it WAS real! Oh well she's probably got terrible vision anyway.
