Cling to your superstitions all you want, but I seriously doubt that this song has anything to do with Satan or Illuminati or anything.

This is all metaphorical. Most of us fight a struggle every day within ourselves to become the people we want to be and live the lives we want to live.
"At the end of it all, who am I living for?"
Am I living for myself (living the way I want), or am I living to please others (sacrificing the things I want for the benefit of others)?

This is about taking the power we all have within us ("phoenix inside of me") and using it to fight for what we want.

Katy perry needs to be ashamed of herself. I saw her California Girls video and was disgusted by what she sees as artistic creativity I guess.

Ms perry draws the viewer into a Candyland cutesie world, and other candy charachters including green gummy bears That give The barely clad and cupcakes for boobs perry the finger which the censor thankfully did remember to remove and it went on and on including the naked

Perry laying naked on a cloud of what appears to be cotton candy. And with the end of this video Perry along with her posse of other candied cuties.comes out in an outfit equipped with two cans of whipped cream attached to her chest and proceeds to disperse this towards Snoop Dog who is waiting across from her.

This along with lyrics, that are so loaded with sexual inuendos make this video not a video that is appropriate for any girl or tween.

I can relate to this song so much... My ex is absolutely amazing... He was my first real love. Our relationship ended 3 years ago. We were young and stupid when we broke up. We stopped talking for a year, but then apologized and are best friends now and talk every day. We're so much closer than my fiance and I could ever be... He knows things about me that no one else knows. I know things about him that he refuses to tell anyone else. We both have our futures planned out and they would work perfectly together. When I kiss my fiance, I'm imagining my ex's lips. When I sleep with my fiance, I'm thinking about my ex and wishing it was him... I feel horrible for thinking like this, but I can't help it. If only I had the courage to tell my ex how I still feel... I don't know why I don't, because I have a feeling that he feels the same way. My friends are sure of it, too. I'm just way too scared of the small chance that he doesn't feel the same. And I'm scared to leave my fiance. It's horrible because I'm leading him on when I don't even love him. I can't. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga or any of the other "catchy tunes" out there. But, I actually like this song. It has a nice beat to it, and her voice is pretty in it. If you don't like the song, then don't listen. All I'm saying.
