KANSAS "DRASTIC MEASURES" IS A MARRIAGE OF JOHN ELEFANTE'S AOR SOUND AND KERRY LIVGREN'S PROGRESSIVE AND SPIRITUAL ROCK SOUND. THE BEST SONG OFF THIS ALBUM IS "FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE" BUT THERE'S MORE GREAT SONGS INCLUDING "MAINSTREAM", "END OF THE AGE", AND "INCIDENT ON A BRIDGE". ANDI IS A SWEET MELLOW SONG LIKE COTTON CANDY AND GET RICH IS A GREAT AOR SONG WITH GREAT PIANO, GREAT HARMONIES, AND VOCALS. DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVE AWAY IS A GREAT AOR BALLAD WITH SMOKING GUITAR SOLOS, GREAT HARMONIES, GREAT CHORUS, AND BEAUTIFUL ARTSITIC FLOWS.
