(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I woke up this mornin' with the sundown shinin' in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag, but then...
I tripped on a cloud and fell eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin' out as I was a-crawlin' in
I got up so tight I couldn't unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
Someone painted "April Fool" in big black letters on a dinged-in sign
I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind
Eight miles outta Memphis and I got no spare
Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Yeah yeah oh-yeah

Review about Just Dropped In Killer Song | Reviewer: Smokey B. | 11/5/2007
This has to be one of the best songs ever.
Jerry Lee Lewis did a version in 1966/67 that is totally Killer, in all senses of the word. It blows Kenny away, I think, but it's out of print, as far as I know... (I'm listening to it now! :) )
I've known about this song for a long time and knew that Kenny did it. My question is do you know other artists that have done this song. It's really a great song with killer lyrics. Thanks Garbear.

this song was from the movie "The Big Lebowski".. classic
I found this song on Driver 2 in the year 1999, and I thought "This song really goes good with Driver 2" It's a great song! And can someone tell me when this song was made? By the static and buzzing; I'm guessing late 60's?
