In my opinion, this song is one of the greatest ever written. Yeah, indeed! I think this one belongs on top over Songs like "Like a rolling Stone", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" or "Stairway to heaven". It shows exactly what kind of a feeling Pink Floyd members had for Music, and how epic the text of a track can be, even if it is not as long as a short story. And I don´t want to speak about the way, Roger Waters and David Gilmour are singing it. If you listened to this Song at least once, you will know the feeling I am talking about.
But I am just a German guy who speaks in english about an english song. Listen to the Song yourself, and correct me if you think I am wrong.

Floyd should have released this song as a single instead of "It Would Be So Nice". Thats a decent song, but you can tell it isn't very authentic, not nearly as much as this one. Haunting. Great song
