Sad Wings Of Destiny Album Tracklist

Wings of Fame | Reviewer: Chris A. Jimenez | 2/17/14

One the most consistent albums in the Priest career over there in their '70's.
The influence of "blues" and the Sabbath sound were wiped out to let through a kind of pure "heavy metal"...and the six jewels show it.
The three parts which "Victim of Changes" shares out, well, each one of them is better than the previous. "The Ripper" is a classic, needless to say. "Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver", another beautiful and crushing composition; outstanding ballad, terrific end. "Prelude/Tyrant", a music gem with one of the finest rhythm sections that I've ever listened.
"Genocide", an awe-inspiring stunning success, it's hard and loud as it is and "Epitaph/Island of Domination", other superb in the same league that "Prelude/Tyrant" is.
Anunrivaled high-pitched voice (perhaps the sharpest that Mr. Halford has exhibited in an album); a guitar duet, a guitar duel I mean, that makes the hair stand on end and a very rock-solid rhythm section. One of the best...I think the best of the '70's Judas Priest era.
