I'm 11, while at this point you're probably 12. But hey, you've got taste! Great song. My mom pulled me from my boyfriend and now he's not mine. And i loved him to death and he claimed to love me, but he got a new girlfriend the next day. It hurts. But Cameron's so much better. I liked him before my last boyfriend. And he basically hid my longing for Cameron. This is our song. He's 2 years older and that's why he won't go out with me, but if i skip a grade he said he'll go out with me. And we're the best of friends. We went to a field trip to a laser tag place for band, and on our way back we talked the whole way. More like sang. :D Best day ever! Especially with this song. Can't beat a guy who's a band nerd and knows his music. I'm still my last boyfriend's friend. But now he has to watch me drool over the guy who took over his first chair. Most deffinately gonna be fun.

Love this band, but please change it to its original title! "Don't Stop Believing" and it is "A singer in a smoky room" please change that. Its not the same if you don't know the lyrics, or the title. Think of it from an artist point of view. the rice pudding song could work i guess, in fact i like that. (editing itunes now)

My favorite part is at the end when Steve Perry hits the really high notes when he sings "oooh oh oh oh oh oh oooooooh!" Simply beautiful. Steve is one of few men who can sing that high and not look or sound gay. Rock on man!!!!!

This is the song my wife and I chose for our wedding. I listen to it while away from her and my daughter, whom I love so dearly, as I am overseas deployed. It helps with the feeling of loneliness, it helps feel connected to them, it gives me the strength with our limited communication to keep going and to do my part in the war effort to help our troops, my fellow brothers and sisters get home safe! His Voice is awsome, there is only one Steve Perry, and I am proud not only to be a father, a husband, a soldier, but of Native Decent! Steve Perry is Native.... Aho My brother and sisters!

i grew up listening to Journey, but i was never a big fan of this song. recently i heard it again and can appreciate it more. still not my favorite of thiers, but i think it's nice to see them step away from their traditional sound. When i first heard this i thought it was a woman singing. it definitely has a bluesy feel to it, very soulful and deep. the message of the song is sad, steve perry reminds us of the brittle exposure of love first felt and than deeply betrayed. it is not so much about revenge and anger though but a bittersweet lesson learned, a sorrowful ending to what could have been a beautiful beginning. certainly worth my second chance of listeing to it!

i rally like the song because when i am down in the dumps i sing this song and i am happy all day long and i can't get it out of my head when i do sind it and when my school does a talent show i will sing it to everyone at my school :)

I love this song! I was actually at a Journey Concert in Las Vegas back in 2008. When this song came on, I thought it was pretty could. But when they got to the chorus...whoa! I also got goosebumps from it! I think that this song deserves a place on Journey's Greatest hits album! I am going to see Journey again Febuary 23rd! Can't wait and I know that this is going to be a song that I can't wait to come on! GO JOURNEY!
