"K, here's your ride.
Get your petals out and lay them in the aisle
Pretend you garden grows,
And it's your own day to wed
We've found your man.
He's drinking up. He's all-American,
and he'll drive.
He's volunteered with grace to end your life
and tidy up.
It's sad to hold, but leave your shell to us
You explode, you firefly, you tiny boat with oars,
Feather oars
The world tilts back and pours and pours
And so, you satellite, you tidal wave,
You're a big surprise
And I've one more night to be your mother."
This signal interrupts
baby's frequency not strong enough
Remain in my hands and smile.
"We will miss you but in time you'll get settled
and we will write"
beauty supreme.
Yeah, you were right about me.
But can I get myself out from underneath
This guilt that will crush me
and in the choir I saw our sad Messiah.
He was bored and tired of my laments.
Said, "I died for you one time, but never again"
Never again, never again, never again
Never again, never again, never again
Never again, never again... [continues in the background]
Well I love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
[x2]
One'll love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Two'll love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Three'll love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Four'll love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Five'll love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply,
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Six will love you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
Seven loves you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
[x2]
Seven loves you so much, but do me a favor baby, don't reply.
'cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.
[In background:]
(I'll never have to buy adjacent plots of earth
We'll never have to rot together underneath dirt
I'll never have to lose my baby in the crowd
I should be laughing right now)

Review about Limousine Numbers | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/2/09
"The number represents the essential number of a man. The number 6 falls one short of God's perfect number, 7, and thus points to human imperfection. Antichrist, the most powerful human the world will ever know, will still be a man - a 6. The ultimate in human and demonic power is a 6, not perfect, as God is."
There are 7 virtues, sins, joys of the virgin, etc...
3 means eternity. Hence 666 means imperfect forever and 777 would mean perfect forever.
If taken into consideration, the song might be indicating that she was the perfect 7 year old.
Seven | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/31/08
The number seven symbolizes many things in this song. The astonishingly sad story of Katie and Stan, but it is also a religious meaning. Seven is the holy number among Christianity, Seven deadly sins, seven commandments ect,. But as said it also means the age or young Katie, and the number of people in the Limousine.

The song was written about a 7 year old flower girl who was killed when a drunk driver struck head on the limo that she was in, as they left a wedding. Heres the video for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9IRHu1F1Vw

jacob o,
the story is in fact about a 7 year old girl named Katie Flynn. on july 2nd 2005, she was on the way home from her aunt's wedding where she was a flower girl with her 5 year old sister. she was in a limousine with her mother jen, father neil, her sister grace, 5, and jen's parents, denise and chris tangney. they were driving home on the meadowbrook parkway on Long Island and were hit head on by a drunk driver. Katie was decapitated. The limo driver, Stanley Rabinowtiz was intantly killed. Jesse lacey is from long island and had heard of the story and so he wrote this beautiful song. 7 symbolizes kate's age and the number of people in the limousine. i am a family friend of the flynn's and am directly and deeply touched by this story. to learn more about this story, please watch "for katie and stan" on youtube. we want to get the message across about the horrors of drunk driving. thank you

Seven loves you so much | Reviewer: jacob o | 10/29/08
I was reading past comments on the song and somebody said that it was a reference to the 7 people who died in a girl named katies car crash. This could be true. I always thought it was also a reference to Jesus. 6 is the devils number and 7 is divine ie 7 deadly sins, 7 sacraments, the 7 kindoms of heaven in budism (i think). I also think that 7 is repeated 3 times because of the numerious '3's' that are found in religion, such as the father, son, holy spirit or Jesus rising on the 3rd day. Then number 7 is a holy number in many religons, and so is the repition thrice. Ether way, I love this song, its an epic. Its my 2nd fav. off the album after luca
horrible (in regards to the story that inspired this amazing song) | Reviewer: Patrick | 10/20/08
i looked up the lyrics to this song and discovered this whole story behind it... possibly one of the saddest things i've ever heard. I'm wondering, though, did jesse just hear about it and write a song, or did he personally know the family?
either way, amazing song, brand new rocks.
my heart goes out to that family
Jesus Christ & Limousine. | Reviewer: Caroline | 7/11/08
The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me has a lot of religious references. It's not all about dying. Jesus Christ isn't even really about dying. It's about life after death and how he's afraid of what he'll find. You have to look beyond the words and try and understand what they're say.
In fact, Jesse only wrote this song because he was touched by the story.
The entire album is about questioning what you believe, hence the title which they got from a crazy man who repeated "the devil and god are raging inside me" (which is asking yourself whether you are good, or bad).

wow.
I just looked at that page myspace.com/grimrealities, and it is so sad. I don't think I ever really realized how many people get into alcohol related accidents. I suggest everybody else takes a look at that webpage.
