The song talks about how society regards tragedies as everyday occurrences, since the media plays up murders, robberies, and acts of violence as an everyday phenomenon. It makes references to several young girls in history that have had this happen to them- namely Little Miss 1565, who died in the circus tent fire from the thirties or so- no one came in to claim her body, and her identity is still unknown today.
