Jamiroquai Lyrics

Jamiroquai's ten year odyssey through the galaxy of funk
has generated some spectacular statistics. The four albums
released since Jay Kay's 1992 emergence from London's acid
jazz underworld have sold 16 million copies. The last two
albums alone, 1996's 'Travelling Without Moving' and 1999's
'Synkronized', shifted over 11 million between them. If
front man Jay Kay was a little less self aware, he'd be
over the moon about all those skyscraping figures:

"Success is when I see all those people standing out there
in front of me having More...

------ About the song Manifest Destiny performed by Jamiroquai

Manifest Destiny

noun
the belief or doctrine, held chiefly in the middle and latter part of the 19th century, that it was the destiny of the U.S. to expand its territory over the whole of North America and to extend and enhance its political, social, and economic influences.

I documented myself a little bit, you were right.

------ About the song Virtual Insanity performed by Jamiroquai

The song is actually about how we advance ourselves in foolish evil technology. Never noticing our love for each other becomes outdated. By doing this we create a false world of hate and discord. Not understanding our purpose for this human reality can basically sum this up. He's taking about men who live in sin( which is really a lack of love ) religion is wrong, but love never fails he's saying. And Christ died to save us, their is no greater love than self sacrifice.

------ About the song Feels Just Like It Should performed by Jamiroquai

I fell asleep on the sofa. It was 3:30 am in the morning, and I heard this song for the first time. It woke me up, but I didn't mind. It was an infomercial for a video game system. You know how they always turn them up louder? I stared loving this song. I didn't know who sang it, or the name of the song. I went on the internet, and finally found it. I had a five mile smile. The whole album is good. I love it. It even made think of buying this video game system. Awesome! ,Keith

------ About the song Manifest destiny performed by Jamiroquai

Manifest Destiny: 19th century, US the chosen land.. this song highlights the reality of life back then and life right now. Authentic perspective on human imperfection as the song is based on real history. We gotta keep on living & remember that all souls are significant in God's eyes. nuff said,Jamiroquai rocks! xoxo -debbie-

------ About the song Virtual Insanity performed by Jamiroquai

"Time to find a new religion" - All the old ones completely fail. Read the bible, alright. But laugh at all the insanity while you do it. Religiotards like monty see everything framed by their own crazy fairy tales that have no basis in reality. To find all that christ and hell garbage in this song means he's walking around in his own virtual insanity helmet. Time to grow up people - Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, Jesus Christ - all childhood fantasies. Take your thumb out of your mouth, toss your security blanket in the trash can and go to school like a big boy.

------ About the song Virtual Insanity performed by Jamiroquai

this song deals with human fascination for science and technology. it is a song about humans going against nature laws and ultimately causing its own destruction. the lyrics also mention the need for a new religion: a more conscious and direct approach to the environment as part of who we are.
