Jamiroquai Lyrics

Jamiroquai's ten year odyssey through the galaxy of funk
has generated some spectacular statistics. The four albums
released since Jay Kay's 1992 emergence from London's acid
jazz underworld have sold 16 million copies. The last two
albums alone, 1996's 'Travelling Without Moving' and 1999's
'Synkronized', shifted over 11 million between them. If
front man Jay Kay was a little less self aware, he'd be
over the moon about all those skyscraping figures:

"Success is when I see all those people standing out there
in front of me having More...

------ About the song Manifest Destiny performed by Jamiroquai

Manifest Destiny

noun
the belief or doctrine, held chiefly in the middle and latter part of the 19th century, that it was the destiny of the U.S. to expand its territory over the whole of North America and to extend and enhance its political, social, and economic influences.

I documented myself a little bit, you were right.

------ About the song When you gonna learn performed by Jamiroquai

This is a very old song, but it's message is still true today. This is one of my favourite Jamiroquai songs, with a GREAT tune and amazing lyrics.

This is one of those songs that will live in heart forever and ever. <3

The real truth? To a lunatic you mean | Reviewer: Your Mom
------ About the song Virtual Insanity performed by Jamiroquai

"Time to find a new religion" - All the old ones completely fail. Read the bible, alright. But laugh at all the insanity while you do it. Religiotards like monty see everything framed by their own crazy fairy tales that have no basis in reality. To find all that christ and hell garbage in this song means he's walking around in his own virtual insanity helmet. Time to grow up people - Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, Jesus Christ - all childhood fantasies. Take your thumb out of your mouth, toss your security blanket in the trash can and go to school like a big boy.

------ About the song Virtual Insanity performed by Jamiroquai

this song deals with human fascination for science and technology. it is a song about humans going against nature laws and ultimately causing its own destruction. the lyrics also mention the need for a new religion: a more conscious and direct approach to the environment as part of who we are.

------ About the song Alright performed by Jamiroquai

There's something about this song... It makes me not want to give up on my current relationship and still hold on to love. Because like what the title of this song, everything will be "alright". Fights and arguments always happen and the high-strung emotions attached to these moments often die down overnight whereupon when you wake up in the morning after spending the night together with that person, everything is "alright" after all. You do live forever.

Jay is a genius. I swear. :]

hard not to like | Reviewer: Ferdinand
------ About the song Seven Sunny Days In June performed by Jamiroquai

yeah this song is really good. I also like the fact that it's ironic in that the tune is gives off a feel-good vibe while the lyrics is actually a story of a guy getting dumped by a girl that sees him only as a friend. ouch...but oh so cool ^_^

Holiday in your ears | Reviewer: Jeseni
------ About the song Corner Of The Earth performed by Jamiroquai

To any musiclover this song would appeal. It is soothing relaxing and dope for the brain. The creation of earth at the beginning and then the song as if it were meant especially for anyone who is listening. |The rich sounds in the accompagnyment like the trumpet and the funky free lalalaa's are more then good.
